Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) which is being constructed will connect Navi Mumbai directly to Mumbai. It will connect SEWRI in south-central Mumbai to Nhava Sheva in Navi Mumbai. The project is already making amazing progress. And ahead this MTHL will be connected with four key roads in Mumbai in the way of a cloverleaf Interchange loop, which will improve connectivity between Navi Mumbai, central and south Mumbai.
New Metro Route for Navi Mumbai
A huge step towards cutting down the traffic of Mumbai. With the construction of sea bridges and roads, Govt has cleared a new Metro railway project of 33.15km from Navi Mumbai International airport to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International airport. This rapid mass transit system will largely benefit travelers.
Connectivity through water
Officials Confirmed the launch of water taxi services between Bhau cha dhakka in Mumbai to Belapur and Nerul in Navi Mumbai. Mumbai port trust has approved the project of connecting the upcoming Navi Mumbai airport through shoreline using catamarans, hovercrafts, and seaplanes to the other cities of Thane, Kalyan and Vasai.
Navi Mumbai coastal road
Cidco planning to connect Kharghar to Amra Marg at Panvel from a coastal road which is equipped by Intelligent Traffic Control System. This connectivity will be beneficial in controlling the traffic movement between Navi Mumbai airport to Mumbai trans harbour link.
An upcoming corporate hub: Navi Mumbai
Looking after the development, qualified human resources are getting attracted and investing in Navi Mumbai which is pulling significant corporates and real estate developers. Currently, there is 18 million sq.ft of space under operation in Navi Mumbai.
